How can I make my event submission more successful?
Here are a few useful tips and tricks to improve your overall event submission:
- Top-Notch Photo. Use high-quality photos that are crisp, vibrant and related to your event topic. Photos that are logo-based (unless it’s a logo describing the event content, such as “Twitter” or “Wordpress”), contain heavy text, or that feature the teacher are not permitted.
- Compelling Description. Write an engaging event description to help students understand what they will learn and why it's fun. Avoid cliches and excessive marketing speak. Focus your event description on the value you will bring to your students; avoid any personal sales pitches. We do not approve events that focus on the promotion of a company or product/service.
- Let Your Personality Shine! Keep it light-hearted and fun. Let people come away excited and ready to dive in further with the topic.
At this time, we don't approve any classes or workshops related to firearms or concealed carry classes nor any event that appears to discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion (creed), gender, gender expression, age, national origin (ancestry), disability, marital status, sexual orientation, or military status.
